As a Project Manager at TravellGDS, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of projects within the travel domain. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of successfully managing projects in the travel technology space.
• Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring alignment with business objectives and timelines.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle from initiation to closure, managing resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Leverage in-depth knowledge of travel technology, including Laravel, PHP, Zend, Angular, React.js, and JavaScript, to guide technical teams and make informed decisions.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements relevant to the travel domain.
• Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including developers, analysts, and quality assurance professionals.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding of requirements, and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with clients to identify opportunities for project enhancements and future collaborations.
• Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement effective risk management practices to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
• Collaborate with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain high standards of project deliverables.
• Conduct regular project reviews to ensure adherence to quality benchmarks.
• Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders, highlighting key milestones, issues, and resolutions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager in the travel domain.
Technical proficiency in Laravel, PHP, Zend, Angular, React.js, and strong JavaScript skills.
Solid understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Previous experience in handling and leading technical teams.
