We are seeking a talented API Developer to join our innovative team and contribute to the development of robust and scalable API solutions that power our cutting-edge travel platforms.
As an API Developer at TravellGDS, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance APIs that play a crucial role in enhancing the overall functionality and user experience of our travel platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in API development, a passion for creating seamless integrations, and a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs to support various applications within the travel ecosystem.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into scalable API solutions.
Implement integrations with third-party systems, ensuring smooth data flow and interoperability.
Work closely with external partners to facilitate API integration and support.
Identify and implement strategies for optimizing API performance, scalability, and reliability.
Conduct regular assessments of API performance metrics and address bottlenecks.
Implement security best practices, including authentication and authorization mechanisms, to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data transmitted through APIs.
Create comprehensive documentation for APIs, including specifications, usage guidelines, and troubleshooting procedures.
Assist in the development of client-facing documentation to facilitate third-party integrations.
Develop and execute testing strategies, including unit testing and integration testing, to ensure the reliability and functionality of APIs.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address and resolve identified issues.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as an API Developer, with a strong portfolio of successful API implementations.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js.
Familiarity with RESTful API design principles and best practices.
Experience with API testing tools and frameworks.
Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
Knowledge of security protocols and standards related to API development.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
